How to eat Russian caviar properly

Serve the Russian caviar in a glass container or a small porcelain bowl on a bed of crushed ice. Or in a special caviar containers with a small spoon, which is neither silver nor stainless steel (these metals directly affect the taste!). Usually, a pearl or golden spoon is used, but you can use horn, wood or glass. Plastic would not fit at all.
Spread the caviar on a dry or lightly buttered toast bit or unsalted small biscuits.
Enjoy caviar just like that, or garnish with a bit of hard boiled eggs, chopped onions or sour cream. You can also mix everything.
You can enjoy Russian caviar with real Russian vodka, a bottle of good champagne or cold white wine. Experiment and determine your own favorite.
If you want you can make the Russian blini , which are similar to very thin pancakes .

I have thought many thoughts about how I can improve the website and I finally found some time to create a logo. It took me like 20 minutes to create one since I bought & downloaded the logo itself. But it is done now and my question is – is this one better then the last one? Personally I think the website looks more professional now.

I decided to switch language, from Swedish to English, even if it is difficult, because I realize that my costumers aren’t only Swedish but they are also very international. And a good way to reach out to them is obviously to write in English…. I apologize for my poor English (that 3 years in English high school didn’t fix my spelling problems haha).

Lax är en fisk som har blivit väldigt populär i de svenska köken de senaste åren. Laxen har gått från att vara en “finfisk” till vardagsmat. Lax är en fet fisk som innehåller mycket nyttigt fett, fleromättade fettsyror. Detta fett minskar risken för hjärt- och kärlsjukdomar.

Gravad lax är redan färdig maträtt som du enkelt lyxar till middagen med. Lägg upp skivorna fint på ett fat och dekorera med lite citron, dill, oliver eller något annat du tycker är gott.

Terrin, paté eller pastej?

Terrin - är ursprungligen ett franskt ord för en oval skål där terrinen tillagas och även serveras ur. Nu kallas även maträtten för terrin som kan tillagas av fisk, kött eller grönsaker/rotfrukter. Det man gör är att man hackar ingrerienserna och använder klistriga proteiner som finns i fisk och i vissa rotfrukter för att få rätten och hålla ihop. Väldigt läckert.

Paté - är också franska men står för ordet bröd. Maträtten kallas så eftersom den inlndas i deg när den ska in i ugnen. Den kan också göras på olika sätt och är ganska lik terrinen.

Pastej – Pastej är bl.a. ett i modern tid förekommande samlingsnamn för olika typer av maträtt vars gemensamma nämnare är att de består av en finmald huvudingrediens samt smaksättningar och bindemedel.* – wikipedia
